Kirk, Miriam Marjorie Anne "Nanny"
Peacefully on Monday September 27, 2010 at the General & Marine Hospital, Collingwood at the age of 86. Miriam of Wasaga Beach, beloved wife of the late David Walters (1958) and Garnet Kirk (1995). Loving mother of Peggy and her husband Jim Beairsto, David Walters, Marjorie Blaney and the late Clifford Walters. Loving "Nanny" to grandchildren Everett Beairsto, Lisa and her husband Sean Suitters, Angie and her husband Scott Traverse, Andrew Blaney and Kelly Blaney and "Nanny 2" to great grandchildren Scotty and Amanda Traverse and Fiona Suitters. Survived by siblings David (Joan) Ferguson and Frances Robbins. Miriam will be missed by her family she loved so much. Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home - Wasaga Beach Chapel, 509 River Road West, Wasaga Beach (E of Zoo Park) from 12 noon on Friday October 1, 2010 for the Memorial Service in the Chapel at 1 o'clock. Reception to follow. If desired, remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by Miriam's family.
