Best memory with Jo

My heart is aching with sorrow that she has left us all.  A beautiful photo of her and as I look at it I remember some of the best times with her.   She was so generous to me as a friend.  Here is a short story about how she helped me when no one else could.

The time was just after I had given birth to my first son, Brook.   Now every mom knows we don't just become flat and slim as fast as we would like to.  A group of my girlfriends including Jo, took me out to the cinema.   I actually wore one of my old hippy a line dresses as I was still very plump in that area.  When I bought my ticket the young girl said to me, "Now don't you have that baby in here!".  I replied, "Don't worry - I won't!"...... Well I was steaming mad after that.  When we went to sit down, Jo sat down first and I had to go by her to my seat.  As I went by, she grabbed me and sat me down on her lap and held on to me and would not let me go.  I was still mad, and as she held me I finally started to cry, then finally started to laugh and laugh and laugh.  By then we were all laughing.   Thank you Jo for everything ....You gave us all so much.  I will miss you so much.  Now you are an angel and probably hugging those who meet you in heaven.  Bye Jo.  Hugs
