With heavy hearts, Bob and Karen McGirr announce the tragic passing of their wonderful son Gordon and his girlfriend Becky Johnston on Saturday December 14, 2013. He will also be sadly missed by his brother Andrew, his cherished grandparents Allan and Mary Anne Robinson of Hastings and the late Jim and Sadie McGirr of Mississauga. Gordon will also be fondly remembered by his aunts, uncles, cousins and his numerous friends. Gordon was known for his sense of humour and his kind heartedness. His infectious laugh and his love for life will always be remembered in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Wasaga Beach Chapel, 509 River Road West Wasaga Beach on Friday December 20, 2013 from 12 noon for the Celebration of Gordon’s Life at 1 o’clock.
