Died peacefully on Saturday November 12, 2022 at Campbell House Hospice, Collingwood at the age of 64. Wendy of Wasaga Beach, loving mother of Holly Edwards (Garry Donaldson) and Carly Bartoletti (Sean Harding). Cherished grandmother of Jaxson Edwards, Maddox and Chase Donaldson and Myla Harding. Much loved daughter of Joan and the late Stuart Sherk. Dear sister of Brian Sherk (Judy Stempski), Scott Sherk (Leslie) and the late David Sherk. Wendy was a kind and fun-loving woman who cherished her family and her community. She was a long time representative of the Sun newspapers, was a devoted member of the Wasaga Beach Lioness club and gave back to her community through various organizations and events. She will be deeply missed. Friends are invited to join her family at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home, 509 River Road West, Wasaga Beach on Saturday November 19, 2022 from 1 to 4 p.m. for a come and go celebration of her life. Light refreshments will be served. If desired, a donation to the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation or Hospice Georgian Triangle Foundation for Campbell House would be appreciated by her family.
