Died suddenly at home on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at the age of 71. Ted Nixon, of Wasaga Beach, was the beloved husband of Virginia “Jen’ Nixon for 23 years. Loving step-father of Matthew McDonald and Rachel Crowell. Cherished grandfather of Aria, Virginia Rose and David. Lovingly remembered by his brother Stanley (Carol), extended family and friends. Ted loved to sing and was a big Elvis fan.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Ted’s life is being planned for a later date with details to follow as available. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Ted to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
