Melanson, Susan Lynn (nee Hodges)
Died peacefully on Thursday April 25, 2019 at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie at the age of 60. Susan of Stayner, beloved wife of Bill Melanson. Devoted mother of Ryan (Jessica), Christine (Tyler Scott) and Micheal (Samantha Stewart). Cherished grandmother of Brendan, Benjamin and Elizabeth. Susan is survived by her brothers Michael Hodges (Jennifer) and Norman Hodges (June). She will also be missed by her mother-in- law Leona Blandford, her nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours. Susan was a warm and nurturing woman who spent her entire life caring for others. She was devoted to her family, in particular the joy her grandchildren brought her. She will be dearly missed. Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home- Stayner Chapel, 7373 Highway 26, Stayner on Tuesday April 30, 2019 from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday at 1 o’clock.
