Died peacefully on Friday November 6, 2020 at Campbell House Hospice, Collingwood at the age of 89. Sam, loving father of the late Beverly (Steve Armstrong), Cathy (Michael Wood), the late David, Steven (Brenda), and Kevin. Dear brother of Peggy (Robbie Duncan) and the late David (Barbara) Burgess. Sam will also be missed by Helen Burgess, his grandchildren, great grandchildren, and their families, his nieces and nephews and his friends and neighbours. Sam’s family and closest friends will gather on Friday November 13, 2020 at Ebenezer Cemetery for a graveside ceremony. If desired, a donation to Hospice Georgian Triangle Foundation for Campbell House would be appreciated by Sam’s family. The family wishes to thank all those who have been caring for Sam – those at Campbell House, Creedan Valley and the General and Marine Hospital – for their exceptional care and compassion.
