As a long-time cottager on "the lake" the Lost Channel Inn was a place of treats for the kids and the memorable Sunday Brunches. Russell was in his usual spot, jumping up to restart the coffee pot or greet a friend/customer. It was always like being invited into someone's home. Our whole family misses those summers and Russell was a big part of those times. Our condolences to his family.

Our sincere sympathies go out to Jamie and Amanda and their families on the loss of their father, and to the Smokey Island Hunt Club on the loss of their friend. We will all miss Russel's smile and great sense of humour, but none of us more than you. Our thoughts are with you at this difficult time.

Larry Murphy and everyone at the Caistor Hunt Club
