Died peacefully on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at the Stayner Care Centre at the age of 83. Ron of Stayner beloved husband of the late Bessie Tapley (1999). Loving father of Scott and his wife Vickie and stepfather of Donna and her late husband Fred Collins. Cherished grandfather of Samantha (Camil), Alicia and Kevin. Dear brother of Rhita Harrison and the late Judy Tapley. Ron was a kind, hardworking man who cherished his family, particularly his grandchildren. He operated Stayner Travel Trailer for many years and was proud to work alongside his son. In retirement he enjoyed travelling south and spending time working with wood. He will be missed. Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home - Stayner Chapel, 7313 Highway 26, Stayner on Saturday, April 20, 2019 from 1 p.m. for the Funeral Service in the Chapel at 2 o’clock. Interment Stayner Union Cemetery. Reception to follow. If desired, a donation to Diabetes Canada or Cystic Fibrosis would be appreciated by Ron’s family.
