Died peacefully with family by his side on Monday February 15, 2021 at Chapman House Hospice, Owen Sound at the age of 95. Robert of Owen Sound, was born in Ireland and moved to Canada in 1951. He is predeceased by his beloved wife Margaret (2006) and his parents. He is survived by his sister-in-law Doreen and her husband Jim Close and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by in-laws Archie (Ellen), Hughie (Frances), Raymond, Elvera (Jim) and Clarence (Eileen). He was a kind man with a wonderful sense of humour. He enjoyed Werthers candies and was known to eat them by the bag full. Robert and Margaret loved to dance, play cards and travel. His family gathered for a private Funeral Service. Spring interment Stayner Union Cemetery. If desired, a donation to the Chapman House Residential Hospice, Owen Sound would be appreciated by his family.
