Died peacefully on Friday April 7, 2023 at Campbell House Hospice, Collingwood at the age of 84. Peter of Wasaga Beach, beloved husband of the late Jeannine (2016). Loving father of Jason and his wife Angel and of Anita. Cherished papa of Dalton and Hayden Bavelaar and to his granddogs Emma, Sophie and Siren. Dear brother of Jim (Marg) Bavelaar, Dick (Evelyn) Bavelaar, the late Margo (the late Jack Bowman) and the late Hans (Shirley) Bavelaar. Peter will also be missed by his nieces and nephews: Richard (predeceased), Alisha, Kevin, Laura, Tanya, Heidi, Marieka and Jacob. Predeceased by his parents Jacobus and Apalonia (Chrispijn) Bavelaar. He was a kind and quiet man who enjoyed riding his motorcycles, driving his classic Camaro and spending time with his family. Private family cremation. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Hospice Georgian Triangle Foundation for Campbell House would be appreciated by his family.
