Passed away peacefully on Wednesday March 30, 2022 at the General & Marine Hospital, Collingwood at the age of 83. Orma of Stayner, formerly of Sunnidale Township, beloved wife of the late Burnfield (2011). Loving mother of Heather (the late Jim Reynolds), Esther (Kevin Spicer), Ellen (Charles Weber) and Fred Wines (Joanne). Cherished grandmother of Katherine and Rebecca Spicer, Adam (Lea) and Emily Weber and Mikayla and Sheridan Wines and great grandmother of Conley Weber. Orma was the only child of her late parents Arnott and Esther (nee Bellamy) Weatherall. She will also be missed by her extended family of cousins, nieces and nephews. Orma was a kind and caring woman who cherished her family and her community. She was a longtime member of the Women’s Institute, the Anglican Church Women and involved with 4H. She was a talented seamstress and cross stitcher and her apple pie was incredible. She will be deeply missed.
Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Stayner Chapel, 7313 Highway 26, Stayner on Sunday April 3, 2022 from 2 to 5 p.m. The Memorial Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday April 4, 2022 at 11 o’clock. Reception to follow. Cremation with interment Stayner Union Cemetery.
