Davenport, Nyah-Lea Aurora “Akii Kwe”
Surrounded by her family, Nyah died peacefully on Friday, December 4, 2020 at Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital at the age of 19.
Nyah of Stayner, cherished daughter of Stephanie and Art Davenport. Loving sister of Carly and step-sister of Brent. Dear niece of John and Wendy Davenport, Corry and Rob Brockwell and Bill and Kathryn Ruppert. Dear cousin of Christian, Brooke, Maisey, Abigail, John, Meghan and Jamie. Nyah is the cherished granddaughter of the late John and Sandra Ruppert and the late Art and the late June Davenport.
We will miss Nyah’s spontaneous, witty and fun loving personality. Nyah’s love of music, singing and dance parties will be special memories. Nyah will be deeply missed but her spirit will live on in her family and friends.
Nyah’s family and closest friends will gather for a private ceremony to celebrate her life.
We are grateful for the amazing medical care by her Nurses and Doctors at Toronto Western Hospital and Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital and for the guidance of the Aboriginal Navigator.
