Died peacefully on Wednesday January 22, 2020 at Campbell House, Collingwood at the age of 92. Mary of Stayner, loving daughter of the late Michael and the late Zuzana Chastven. Dear sister of Michael and his wife Zuzana. Cherished aunt of John Miro (Doris) Chastven, Mila (Hugo Noordijk),the late Jarka Chastven and the late Elena Chastven. Great aunt to Jean Michel, Kristina (Cedo), Alexandra (Steven) and Katherine (Kurt) and great great aunt to Adriana, Mila and Stefan. Mary will also be missed by her extended family spread across the globe, her neighbours and her friends, particularly within her church community at Clearview Community Church. Mary was a strong, independent woman who cherished her family and her faith. She was a talented artist who spent many years at Blue Mountain Pottery. Friends will be received at the Clearview Community Church, 1070 County Road 42, Stayner on Tuesday January 28, 2020 from 10 a.m. for the Funeral Service at 11 o’clock. Reception to follow. Spring interment. If desired, a donation to Hospice Georgian Triangle Foundation for Campbell House or to the Clearview Community Church would be appreciated by her family.
