It is with heavy hearts the family announce Mary’s peaceful passing on Friday, March 17, 2023 surrounded by the love of her family at Campbell House Hospice, Collingwood at the age of 87.
Mary Drakes, of Wasaga Beach, was the beloved wife of Onslow for 70 years. Loving mother of Jerry (late Yvonne) and Randy (Carol). Cherished Nana of Melissa (Jeff), Amanda (Jeff), Nicole and Ryan. Treasured Nana Mary to Ayla, Alyx, Bennett and Kylee. Dear sister of Laura (Harry) and Max (Hazel). Mary will also be lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
A private family gathering was held followed by cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mary to the Hospice Georgian Triangle Foundation for Campbell House Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
