Passed away on Monday October 17, 2022 at the General & Marine Hospital, Collingwood at the age of 76. Marilyn of Wasaga Beach, beloved wife of Ernest. Loving mother of John, Valerie, Ernest (Tina) and LeRoy (Shannon). Cherished grandmother of Robbie (Kayleigh), James (Katie), Rebecca, Jeffery, Amanda and John (Amanda) and to great grandchildren Brianna, Merissa, Mia and Landon. Dear sister of Allan (Jean), Gloria (the late Rick) and David (Ilona). Marilyn was kind, caring, generous and outgoing woman with a wonderful sense of humour. She was a long time member of the Women’s Institute, a leader within the Scouts and a second Mom to so many. She will be deeply missed by her family, her friends, her neighbours and her community. Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Stayner Chapel, 7313 Highway 6, Stayner on Saturday October 29, 2022 from 1 p.m. for the memorial Service in the Chapel at 2 o’clock.
