Died peacefully on Wednesday May 15, 2019 at the Stayner Care Center at the age of 86. Marie of New Lowell and formerly of Kitchener, beloved wife of the late Harvey Fischer (2000). Loving mother of Oscar, Harvey (Katrina) , Danny (Sue), Rick, Marty (Irena Trask), Maria Fischer(Gerald Macpherson), Duane (Kathy), Teresa (Wayne Yates) and Chris (Tanya) Cherished grandmother of 18 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren with another on the way. Dear sister of George (Betty) Hesch, Katie Hesch, the late Marty and the late John Hesch. She will also be missed by her many nieces and nephews and extended family. Mary was a nurturing and kind mother who was committed to her family. She enjoyed competing with card and board games and getting the high score on Tetris. Her handcrafts of needlepoint and paintings will be cherished keepsakes. Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Stayner Chapel, 7313 Highway 26, Stayner on Monday May 20, 2019 from 12 noon until the Memorial Service in the Chapel at 1 o’clock. Reception to follow. Interment Memory Gardens of Kitchener at a later date. I desired a donation to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated.
