Died peacefully on Thursday April 21, 2022 at Sunset Manor, Collingwood at the age of 96. Margaret, beloved wife of the late John Jones (2013) for over 66 years. Loving mother of Gail (Ron Croll), John (Joan) and Marlene (John Imber). Cherished grandmother of Sondra Pavelic, Elise Croll (Grant Henderson), Shauna (Damian Purdy), Paige (Mack Hastings), Lani (Dexter Magri), Jeffrey Imber and Sarah Imber. Great Grandmother of Miranda, Sabrina, Carter, Cole, Eli, Hannah, Milo, Ivy, Claire and Theo. Margaret is survived by her brother William Van Wyck and predeceased by brothers Jack, Jim and Art. Margaret is a veteran of the RCAF Women’s Auxiliary and was a longtime employee of General Electric. She was an intelligent lady who enjoyed keeping active. She loved to knit, play cards, especially Euchre, golfed and kept seasons tickets to the Toronto Argonauts for many years. Most of all she cherished her family. She will be missed. Her family will gather for a private funeral service followed by interment at Stayner Union Cemetery.
