Passed away peacefully Thursday January 27, 2022 at the Stayner Care Centre at the age of 81. The matriarch of the family, alias Momma, was a Mother, Grandmother, Aunt and Friend to many and Caretaker to all. She is predeceased by her loving husband Floyd (1998). Loving mother of Steven (Wendy), Al (Maureen), Kevin (Darlene), the late Deborah and the late Stephen. Cherished Nana of Evan, Bradley, Hannah and Ashton. Loretta is predeceased by her siblings Bill, Glenn and Florence Shepherd. Dear sister-in-law of Joan Courtney, Fern Puffer and brother-in-law Francis (Carol) Gonneau. She will also be missed by her nieces and nephews Carol and her sons Spencer and Thomas. As well as Karen, Kim, Keith, Kenny, Al, Mary, Leanne and James and their families as well as her many friends and neighbours. Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Stayner Chapel on Sunday January 30, 2022 from 1 to 4 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel, Monday at 11 o’clock. Spring interment Stayner Union Cemetery with the hopes of a larger celebration at that time. Due to public health restrictions, you must RSVP to secure your attendance for both the visitation period as well as the funeral service.
