Weatherall-Hiltz, Lillian Louise (nee Cook)
October 3, 1920 – February 16, 2021
Died peacefully on Tuesday February 16, 2021 at her home at the age of 100. Lillian of Stayner, Beloved wife of the late John Weatherall and the late George Hiltz. Loving mother of Roy (Shirley) Weatherall and stepmother of the late Betty (Bill Patterson) and Donald Weatherall. Cherished grandmother of Sandra (Derek) and John (Samantha) as well as several extended grandchildren through the Patterson and Hiltz families. Great grams to Bayley, Deanna, Kyrsten, Maya, Ashton, Skarlette, Lincoln, Dylan, Zack and great great Grams to Amber, Zaya and Christopher. Lillian is predeceased by her parents Lewis and Reta Cook and siblings Ethel Mitchell, Walter, Leon and Raymond Cook. She was a devoted aunt to many nieces and nephews. Lillian was a kind woman who cherished her family and her community. She was a long time Royal Canadian Legion member, an active euchre player, a member of the Jacks Lake Woman’s Institute and a devoted member of centennial United Church. Her family wishes to thank Dr. Gandhi, the team at Saint Elizabeth’s, Pharma Save and Angela and Tara for their kindness, continued support and care of Lillian. Private family arrangements at this time with a public graveside ceremony later in 2021 at Ebenezer Cemetery. Please check back for details in the spring.
