Died peacefully on Sunday April 18, 2021 at Campbell House Hospice, Collingwood in her 90th year. Leona, beloved wife of the late Everett Pilkey. Loving mother of Sherry (Blair Holland), Dwight (Debbie Ward), Laurie (Brady Robertson), Shelly (Jack Joslin) and Michael (Betty Jane). Leona was the cherished grandmother to twelve grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her four siblings. She will also be missed by her many nieces and nephews, friends and neighbours. Leona was a kind and nurturing mother who cherished her large family. Her absence will be deeply missed. Cremation to take place and a celebration will be held at a later date when conditions permit.
