Connor, Laura Marion (nee Dolson)
Passed away peacefully on Wednesday June 12, 2019 at Sunset Manor, Collingwood at the age of 83 after a lengthy battle with pulmonary fibrosis. Laura was greatly loved and will be sadly missed by her large family and many friends. Laura of Stayner, loving wife of the late Bernard Connor and survived by her brother, sister, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren: Ken Dolson, Carol McCauley, Steve Connor, Pat Connor, Barb Weeda, Cath Lennox, Marlene Black, Marie Leroux and Sue Pirie. Laura was cherished by her 19 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and many others like grandchildren who she babysat. Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Stayner Chapel, 7313 Highway 26, Stayner on Sunday June 16, 2019 from 2 to 4 and 7 to9 p.m. and again Monday from 10 to 11:30 a.m.. Rosary prayer service at 3:45 p.m Sunday. Funeral Mass will be held Monday June 17, 2019 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 215 Pine Street, Stayner at 12 noon. Interment St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
