Arnott, James “Larry”
Larry Arnott, a long-time resident of Stayner, passed away peacefully after a hard-fought battle with cancer on Thursday, September 5, 2019 at the age of 69. He was surrounded by loved ones: his spouse Toni, his children Jaime, Matt and Dan, as well as their significant others John, Keilly and Karin. Larry’s greatest passion and life’s work was his restoration of vintage cars. His ability to create art out of pieces most would consider scrap was a skill rarely found these days. He did not suffer fools easily but had a quick wit and a helping hand to any who needed it. He will be greatly missed by family and friends alike. Cremation has taken place and a private family burial at Stayner Union Cemetery will occur at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Stayner Chapel.

Our deepest sympathy to your family. Larry was a great & caring fellow. He did my Mom's snow removal many years ago and then started doing ours. May your memories help you through this sad time. Jim & June McFarlane

We offer our deepest sympathy to your family on the passing of Alan's cousin. We fondly remember his love of old cars. When he got Grandpa Arnott's '58 Chev he told us he would get it started before he loaded it up on the trailer and he did!

Toni and family, my deepest condolences and heartfelt thoughts are with you. Larry was a true friend and a master of his craft. I always enjoyed hearing stories about all their adventures and times spent restoring and fixing cars together. Larry and my father's ( Don Arthur) friendship spanned many years. He will be fondly remembered.
