Redpath, Kathryn Frances (nee Moir)
Died peacefully on Sunday May 23, 2021 at Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital, with family by her side at the age of 89. Kathryn, beloved wife of the late Burton Redpath (1997). Loving mother of Steve, Paul (Kelly) and Lynda (Brian Doherty). Cherished grandmother of James Doherty. Dear sister of the late Marrion (the late Harry Barnes) and sister-in-law of Rosemary (Norm Besse) and the late Sheldon (the late Dorothy Redpath). Kathryn will also be missed by her nieces and nephew/grandnieces and grandnephews and her good friends. She had many lifelong friends, two of whom predeceased by her, Helen Jamieson and Betty-Lou Cruikshank. Kathryn was a strong-willed and independent woman who had a wonderful sense of humour and made friends easily. She spent many years wintering in St. Petersburg, Florida with Burton and cherished the friendships she made there. She continued to enjoy her friendships as a resident of Leacock Retirement Home, being a popular resident with the staff, over the past few years and enjoyed using her scooter to spend time at the shore of Lake Couchiching often stopping for an ice cream at Kawartha Dairy. She will be dearly missed. Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Stayner Chapel on Sunday June 20, 2021 from 1 to 4 p.m. Please utilize the RSVP registration to schedule your time with the family.
