It is with heavy hearts the family announce John’s sudden passing with family by his side at the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at the age of 66. John, of Wasaga Beach, was the beloved husband of Doreen (nee Lord) for over 33 years. Loving father of Michelle Armstrong, Michael Lord (Holly), Kimberly Cummings (Ken) and Shane Cummings. Cherished Grandpa/Popa of Brianna, Logan, Amelia and Hailey. Johns first love was Wasaga Beach, he spent almost every summer at the cottage. He was an avid classic car enthusiast and an active member of the Wasaga Beach Cruisers. John was also an Elvis fan and enjoyed 50’s rock and roll music. He was always willing to help out family and friends. John will be missed and remembered as a wonderful family man and a loving husband, grandfather and friend. Cremation has taken place. Please join the family to Celebrate John’s Life on Saturday January 21, 2023 at the Wasaga Community Church, 278 Main Street, Wasaga Beach at 1 o’clock. In memory of John, donations to the Wasaga Beach Food Bank would be appreciated by the family.
