Died peacefully on Thursday August 19, 2021 at his home at the age of 76. Jack of Wasaga Beach, beloved and devoted husband of Linda (nee Penrose). Dear brother of the late Robert (Linda), the late Ruthann (the late Albert Scott), the late Shirley, Donald and the late Victor. Dear brother-in-law of Diane (the late John Lysak) and Alan Penrose. Jack will also be fondly remembered by Evan and Nigel Wilson, his many nieces and nephews, his friends and neighbours. Jack was outgoing and made friends easily. He and Linda loved the serenity of their gardens and gave of their talents to the Wasaga Beach and Stayner Horticultural Societies. Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home, 7313 Highway 26, Stayner on Tuesday August 24, 2021 from 2 to 4 p.m. Please utilize the RSVP registration to schedule your time. Public health restrictions limit our capacity at any one time. The Graveside Service will be held on Thursday August 26, 2021 at 2 o’clock at the Stayner Union Cemetery. If desired, a donation to Hospice Georgian Triangle Foundation, the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital Foundation or the Royal Victoria Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by Linda.
