James ‘Forbes’ MacDonald has ridden off into the sunset with his posse at 11:10 am on September 22, 2021.
Beloved partner of Jeanne, loving dad of Dave (Annette), cherished grandpa of Merissa (Carlos), adored Poppy of Kellybeth and dad to furry son, Rory. Survived by his brothers Doug (Linda), Leonard (Barbara) and sister, Anita. He was predeceased by his father, Daniel, his mother, Clara (nee Collins), brothers Stanley, Allister and Bill. He will also be missed many nieces & nephews, other relatives and friends.
Born June 20, 1941 in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, moved to Mississauga in his adult years. Retired from Cryovac after forty-three years. Spent summers at his favourite place, the trailer, Highland Pines Campground, Fergus with his vast group of friends. He will be missed at the campfire, discussing the Maple Leafs with Terry, Cathy, Wayne and Janet.
Friends will be received at the Carruthers and Davidson Funeral Home, 7313 Highway 26, Stayner on Saturday, October 2, 2021 from 10 a.m. for the Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11 o’clock. Please utilize the RSVP registration to schedule your time as Public Health regulations restrict the number of people within the facility at any one time.
