Evans, Ina Mildred (nee Brown)
Ina was born December 12, 1922. Daughter of Eva and Duncan Brown. She was predeceased by her husband Roger, her son Ronnie and her chosen daughter Phyllis. She was also predeceased by her siblings - Gladys, Lola, Roy and Alan and their spouses.
Ina and Roger farmed in Sunnidale Township and also loved to travel in their Winnebago. They spent several winters in Florida at Avon Park. Ina found time to work as a switchboard operator for Noisy River Telephone as well as different businesses on the main street.
Ina sold her home and moved to Blue Mountain Manor where she spent her last two and half years.
She died peacefully at Georgian Triangle Hospice in Collingwood on February 17, 2023. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service will be held at Stayner Union Cemetery in the spring. If desired, a donation to the Collingwood General and Marine Hospital Foundation or the Hospice Georgian Triangle Foundation – Campbell House would be appreciated by her family and friends.
