Passed away on Friday, January 8, 2021 at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre - Barrie in his 70th year. Beloved spouse and friend of Marina Delange for over 12 years. Loving father of Holly (Kevin) Goldie and Chad (Joanne Hanna) Snider. Cherished grandfather of Beau and Shyanne Goldie. Howard will also be missed by all of his extended family, nieces, nephews and friends. Howard is now reunited with his loving late wife Sheila Snider (2007) of many many years. Howard always loved a new challenge when it came to inventing new equipment that he needed for a project, as he always had a project on the go. He loved playing cards and many other fun games with his family and friends. Howard spent much of his retirement playing shuffle board both here and in Florida with many of the friends he had made. Howard was a champion shuffleboard player and won many tournaments. Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Wasaga beach Chapel, 509 River Road West, on Wednesday January 13, 2021 from 5 to 7 for a public visitation. Visitors will only be received by using the RSVP system on the funeral home website. Due to Covid-19 regulations, a limited number of people are permitted within the funeral home at any one time. A private Funeral Service will be held on Thursday January 14, 2021. The ceremony is restricted to the family only. The family wishes to extend their thanks and gratitude to the frontline workers at RVH, Barrie. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice in Howard’s name would be appreciated. A Celebration of Life will occur on June 5, 2021, COVID permitting.
