Obituary for Heather Jean Elizabeth Pratt (Wilkinson)
Heather Jean Elizabeth Pratt of Wasaga Beach passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2023 at home at the age of 76.
Heather was born and raised in Rexdale but lived most of her life in North Bay where she raised her family. She enjoyed living in the quiet community, close to the water. Later, Heather moved to Wasaga Beach to continue living in a quiet space and to be closer to family.
Beloved wife of Norm for 54 years. Loving mother of Carey (Shannon) and Erin (Jayson). Cherished grandma to Anna.
Heather is survived by her brother Grant (Sue). Sister-in-law of Ken (Vi) Pratt, Arlene Clemmens, Jean Pratt. Fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Predeceased by her parents, James and Jean (nee Grant) Wilkinson, her brother Bruce (Maria), Neil (Barb), sister-in-law Ethel Pratt and her brothers-in-law Al Pratt, David Pratt, and Paul Clemmens.
Heather’s family will receive relatives and friends at the Carruthers and Davidson Funeral Home, 509 River Road West, Wasaga Beach, 705-429-8766 on Saturday, April 15, 2023 from 2:00-4:00 p.m.
The celebration of life will be held in the funeral home beginning at 2:00 p.m with memories being shared at approximately 3:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Heather’s memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the Canadian Cancer Society.
