DYER, Gregory ‘Greg’ Lloyd
Died on Sunday, March 6, 2022 with family by his side at the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital in his 76th year. Greg Dyer was a lifelong resident of Wasaga Beach; born on April 3, 1946 to Lloyd and Marjorie (nee Wood) Dyer, founders and operators of the Nancy Villa for 42 years. Beloved husband of Marizul Maizitis for over 6 years. Loving father of Nicole (Sean) Bingley, the late Brad Bach and Jason Bach (Amy Bennett). Cherished Grandpa of Mya Bach and Louella, Mary-Anne and Henry Bingley. Dear brother of Barbara (Glenn) Harvey and Carol (Nick) Digiandomenico. Lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews, and entire Maizitis family. Greg was a hard-working man who owned a construction business and proudly built most of the retaining walls along the Nottawasaga River. At Greg’s request, cremation has taken place and close friends and family are gathering privately to celebrate his life. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation.
