Died suddenly on Friday October 25, 2019 at his home in Stayner, Ontario at the age of 53. Glenn, beloved husband of Lori (nee Walker). Loving father of Keisha (Chris), Brent, Kendra, Brianna and Danielle (Justin). Cherished poppy of grandson Xavier and soon to be granddaughter Xenia. Caring brother of Dean (Helen), Dale (Janet), Plez (Marilyn), Jill Curl, Lisa King (Nathan Robertson), Ashley Kelly and Aylisa Kelly. Amazing uncle of Amanda (Scott), Megan (Damien), Chantelle, Chelsea, Alicia (Jay), Joey, Justin (Jesse), Joshua, Katie, Jayden, Dakota, Emmett, Maysn, Peyton, Finnegan and Myla. Great uncle of Avah, Carolyn and Mason. Glenn is predeceased by his parents Wesley and Nellie and he will be deeply missed by his in laws Robert and Judy Walker. He will also be missed by his many aunts and uncles, neighbours, friends and coworkers. Glenn was a kind and thoughtful man who always had a smile on his face and a story to tell about Newfoundland. He was hardworking, loved being outdoors working on a project and always offered to help anyone that needed it. Most importantly, he was devoted to his family, proud of their accomplishments and cherished each moment he shared with them. Above all else, he loved all of them dearly. Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Stayner Chapel, 7313 Highway 26, Stayner on Friday November 1, 2019 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.. The Funeral Service will be held at the First Baptist Church, 205 Oak Street, Stayner on Saturday November 2, 2019 at 1 o’clock. Reception to follow. Glenn’s family wish to thank the Clearview Fire Department and Simcoe County Emergency Services for their efforts, compassion and support. A heartfelt thank you to the staff of Clearview Meadows Elementary School, Stayner Collegiate Institute, Erin, Mathilda, Paul and Saundra for coming to help in our time of need.
