Hutton, Glen Edward Howard
Glen was born November 8, 1943. He passed away on Thursday August 5th 2021 with family at his side. He leaves behind his wife of 43 years Judy Hutton (Morris) and his two sons Kristopher (Anne-Marie) of Thunder Bay and Kerry (Vanessa and step-son Eric) from Ottawa. Brother of Levonne Mitchell of Apto and her sons Glenn and Jerry Mitchell. Brother in law to Frank Morris, John Morris, Pat (Ron) Columbus, Dianne (Curtis) Royal, Linda Morris (Stanley deceased), George Morris, Gary (Cheryl) Morris, Mary (David) Morris and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by father Norman Hutton and mother Iona Hutton.
Born and raised in Stayner he was known for his great smile, gentle soul, and his love for the outdoors. He was an active member in the community and a long standing member of the Stayner Curling Club. Glen worked for Ontario Hydro for 33 years before retiring to travel the world with his wife.
He has been cremated as per his wishes. Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Stayner Chapel on Friday, August 13, 2021 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Please utilize the RSVP registration to schedule your time with the family. The Private Family Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 11 o’clock.
