Died peacefully on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at Campbell House, Collingwood surrounded by his loving family at the age of 88. Fausto was born in Roseto Valfortore, Italy. He immigrated to Canada in the 1950’s with his family and settled in Toronto and eventually moved to Stayner. Beloved husband of the late Lorna (1986) and Lorraine (2008). Loving father of John (Deborah), Lori Stever, Deanna Schaly (Wally) and Len (Monica). Cherished Poppa of Kristen (Tyler), Karen (Garrett), Matthew (Megan), Caitlyn (Frazer), Wade (Alicia), Nathan (Jen), Nicholas (Annabelle), Melissa and Michelle (Garnet) and great grandfather of Dawson, Lennon, Della and Elijah. Dear brother of Mary Luisi, Carmela Ferrari, Rose (Mario Lombardo), Tina (Mike Trigiani), Antoinette DeRosa (John) and the late Michael, Leonard and Maria Le Donne. Fausto was a strong and independent man who cherished his family. He loved the years he spent farming and lived his life to the fullest, creating a legacy for his family and friends to remember. His family will gather for a private ceremony. Interment Stayner Union Cemetery. The Menecola family would like to thank the staff and volunteers of Campbell House. We will never forget the care and sensitivity you gave our father at the end of his life. You supported the whole family through a very difficult time with your patience, support and kindness. Without you we would have never got through this difficult time. Thank you for everything you do. We would also like to thank Dr. Gandhi for being there to support our father throughout many years. Thank you for always making yourself available to our father and our family and for your kindness and patience.
