Passed away on Wednesday January 19, 2022 at the Hospice Georgian Triangle, Collingwood in his 81st year. Predeceased by loving wife Katharine and daughter Dianne. Partner of Evelyn Morby. Loving father of Scott and his wife Michelle and Shawn and his wife Monica. Dear grandpa of McKenzie, Jacob, Zachary, Alyssa & Madelyne. Loving brother of Marie Stout. Don will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Don enjoyed spending his summers at his cottage at Lost Forest Park, taking his guests out for boat rides and fishing with the grandchildren. Over the past years he enjoyed spending the winters in warm and sunny Florida, golfing, fishing, and spending time with his sister Marie and her husband Dave. Don loved to travel, preferably by car, he loved his road trips, over the years he explored most of Canada and many parts of the United States.
Visitation will be held at Centennial United Church, Stayner on Monday, January 24, 2022 from 12-12:45pm followed by the funeral service at 1pm. You must RSVP your attendance for either the visitation and/or the Funeral Service. To do so, please utilize the blue RSVP tab below. Centennial United Church guidelines require that all attendees must show proof of vaccination. Interment Stayner Union Cemetery.
