Died suddenly on Wednesday January 19, 2022 at St. Mary’s Hospital, Kitchener at the age of 98. Darcy of Kitchener, formerly of Duntroon, beloved husband of the late Marion (nee Wickens) (2017). Dear brother of the late Reginald (the late Evelyn), the late Willard (the late Ferne), the late Nelda Lageer, the late Pearl (the late Lloyd Alexander) and Doris (the late Kenneth Wallace). Darcy will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews and their families. Darcy was a kind and humble man with a strong work ethic and a unwavering faith in the Lord. Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home, 7313 Highway 26, Stayner on Sunday January 23, 2022 from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at 4 o’clock. Pastor Hugh Rutledge officiating. Interment Stayner Union Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Collingwood Salvation Army or Billy Graham Evangelistic Association of Canada would be appreciated by Darcy’s family.
