Died peacefully on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at his farm surrounded by the love of his family at the age of 62. Brian of Stayner, beloved husband of Debbie. Loving father of Nicole (Deric Smart), Tyler (Sharon), Natalie (Chad Vibert), Natasha (Sam Spence) and Trevor. Cherished grandfather of Colt Smart, Gretchen, Bryleigh and Farrah Franklin, Charlie and Chester Spence and Zachary, Wyatt and Scarlett Vibert. Brian is also survived by his mother Monica (the late Robert Franklin), mother-in-law Yvonne Peacock, sisters Heather (Larry Parkin), Joanne Ferguson and Judy McEachern, brother-in-law Terry Peacock and his nieces and nephews. Brian was quite simply a great guy. He cherished his family, his farm and his many friends. He always had a kind word and a quick joke for everyone. Brian was a longtime member of the Clearview Roads crew and loved his time in the truck, especially his highway freight 18-wheeler and his snow plow. His true passion was his farm and cattle. He will be deeply missed. Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Stayner Chapel, 7313 Highway 26, Stayner on Thursday, September 26, 2019 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Centennial United Church, 234 William Street, Stayner on Friday, September 27, 2019 at 11 o’clock.
