It’s with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Betty Haynes.
Loving wife of the late Ron J Haynes , mother of Ronald Haynes[Helen], Margaret Crake[Lawrence], Deborah Coyne[Chris] and Robert Haynes [Katherine].
Grandmother of Amanda Drybrough[John],Ryan Haynes[Adrienne], Shawn Haynes, Kyle Coyne[Katie], Krystal Kent[Cole],Michael Haynes, and Kristine Haynes.
Great grandmother of Sawyer, Noah ,Aspen Casey, Brooklyn, Henry, Lillian and Arthur.
Betty will be greatly missed by her brother Don Sheffield, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
If you knew Betty you would know she was a very kind and caring person, always had a smile and time to listen and sometimes offer an opinion you might not want to hear, liked to be comforting when it was needed and correct you when you were out of line. She had a nick name her son in-law gave her many years ago that got a chuckle. [Nails] was the name and she could be as tough as nails or gentle as a lamb, loved and cared for her family to the very end. Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home -Stayner Chapel on Thursday April 29, 2021 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Please use the RSVP tab to schedule your time to visit. The Graveside Service will be held at Dixon Union Cemetery, Caledon later that day. The service is by invitation only due to the restricted numbers permitted.
