Dear Cathy and Martyn:

Please accept our Deepest Sympathy on the passing of your Dad. Shirley and i have always had great respect and love for your Mom and Dad. We enjoyed many good times together over the years when we were all much younger.

Your Dad has kept much closer contact with us since Shirley's stroke back in May 2016. Regular e-mails were received and Doug was aways concerned about how Shirley was coming along. In your Dad's Christmas card 2017 he enclosed a picture of himself sitting on his new electric motor bike, I telephoned him, I think sometime late Janruary or early February and we had a really good chat. Doug did not comment about any health problems that he might have been experiencing.

We are saddened by Doug's death and will keep you both in our thoughts and prayers as you grieve your loss.
