Died tragically on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at his home at the age of 30. Nicholas of Stayner, formerly of Collingwood, loving son of Catherine and Elmer Armbrust. Dear father of Aiden. Cherished brother of Stuart and his wife Tanya, Andrew and twin brother James. Dear uncle of Alexander, Samantha, Caitlyn, Zachery, Allysin, Emma and Jacob. Nicholas will also be missed by his many aunts, uncles, cousins and his many friends. Nicholas was a caring and generous man who would literally give you the shirt off his back. He loved music and being with family and friends. He will be missed by so many. Friends are invited to say their goodbyes to Nicholas at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Stayner Chapel, 7313 Highway 26, Stayner on Friday, August 25, 2017 from 4 to 5 p.m. A Memorial Service to celebrate Nicholas’ life will be held in the funeral home chapel on his 31st birthday, Sunday, September 10, 2017 at 1 o’clock. If desired, a donation to the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health to assist those affected by addiction or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by Nicholas’ family and friends.
