Fraser was a very special man indeed.  He first made himself known to me when he contacted me on Facebook in 2012 to let me know that he had heard my father's last words when he was shot down over Germany in 1945.  I was amazed to hear this and I learned that he had spent many years trying to track me down.  His perseverance paid dividends.  

Through the many emails we exchanged from then on I discovered what a kind and loving person he was and I was overjoyed when we finally met each other on May 6th 2015 at the 70th Anniversary of the Liberation of the Netherlands.  That day will live in my memory as one of the most momentous days of my life.  Fraser was such a good man and I am privileged to have met him.  The story of how Fraser found me is in my book, www.amazon.co.uk/Its-Not-The-Same-Friday/dp/1493712470
