Died peacefully on Monday September 9, 2019 at the General & Marine Hospital, Collingwood at the age of 71. Lois of Stayner, beloved wife of Pat Blackmere. Loving mother of Sarah and Aaron (Joyce). Cherished grandmother of Taylor, Maverick, Sydney, Maguire, Madison and Maddox. Dear sister of Myrna (Bob Richardson) and Dan (Robin) Brown and sister-in-law of Erna (Don Sawdon), Doug Blackmere and Lois (Stephen Peck). She will also be missed by her many nieces and nephews, and her friends and neighbours, Lois was a kind and loving woman who cherished her family. She will be deeply missed. Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Stayner Chapel, 7313 Highway 26, Stayner on Thursday September 12, 2019 from 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday September 13, 2019 at 1 o’clock.
